Now the amalgamation of three iconic Taranaki businesses, the story of Brandlab truly begins in a residential basement located in sleepy Inglewood. Launched in 2017 by Dylan and his now-wife Rachel, Signright specialised in quality signage solutions with personalized ‘old-school’ service. Passionate and goal-driven, Signright grew to become synonymous with quality throughout Taranaki. Growing quickly, their high-end printing machines and workshop allowed them to complete a wide variety of jobs to high standards and within time frames that exceeded expectations. From flat signage to vehicle wraps and high-end business solutions, Signright offered it all.
It was their passion for quality products and customer service that lead to the purchase of Top Stitch in 2021, a local powerhouse that had been taking care of embroidery and apparel solutions throughout Taranaki for over 20 years. Specialists in embroidery, Top Stitch also offered transfer printing, DTG printing, branded accessories, and extras such as ribbon and sash printing. Signright could now proudly offer their clientele a full service, where they could quality control everything.
Their drive to take over the industry didn’t end there however, with the purchase of Screen Culture in late 2023. Having operated from their Gill St location since 2016 Screen Culture had been Taranaki’s go-to screen printer, known for their quality workmanship and personalised service. With a passion for screen printing and design previous owner Courtney is still to this day involved in Brandlab, stepping into the Production Manager role.
Now located at 320 Devon St East, Brandlab is proud to offer a full range of services in one location, thanks to our large, comprehensive showroom and workshop equipped with a range of quality machines. From all types of signage to in-house screen printing, DTF printing, and embroidery, we keep the process simple and effective. Our Managing Director Dylan takes care of the big decisions, steering Brandlab in the direction that’s seen it become New Plymouths leading branding specialist. With an addiction to purchasing businesses its Dylan’s ambition and experience in the Sign Writing industry that makes for an exciting Brandlab future.
Rachel
Administration / Owner
Some would say Rachel is the “Big Boss”, but when it comes ensuring our admin and penny counting is taken care of, she is your go to. Supporting Dylan in the day to day running of the business, while working a full time job outside of Brandlab, Rachel is the glue that keeps things on track.

Production Manager
As Production Manager Courtney ensures jobs are being completed on time, to our high standard of quality, all while keeping our resident spiders safe and our clients proofs and artworks flowing. Utilising her BDes and experience in Screen Printing Courtney knows exactly what it takes to produce high quality branded products.

Always there greeting our customers with a smile, Heather uses her wealth of product knowledge to ensure every customers is taken care of. A fan of bubbles and a good laugh, Heather brings the sparkle to customer service.

When he’s not racing around in circles Tyler can be found diligently working in the Sign Writing workshop. From flat signage to full vehicle wraps, Tyler’s hands on approach and eagle eye for detail means our customers signage is in good hands.

With his sharp sense of humour and love for obscure general facts Riley brings to the team a wealth of screen printing experience and knowledge. Always willing to crack into a challenging print aka ‘motorsport merch’ Riley’s passion for screen printing really sets the standard.

Fridays are Nick’s favourite day of the week, bringing an extra pep to his step. One might say that’s because the weekend is just around the corner, but we say its because of how hard he works all week pulling squeegees, creating top quality screen prints.
