Now the amalgamation of three iconic Taranaki businesses, the story of Brandlab really begins in a residential basement located in sleepy Inglewood. Launched in 2017 by Dylan and his now wife Rachel, Signright specialised in quality signage solutions with personalised ‘old school’ service. Passionate and goal driven Signright grew to become synonymous with quality throughout Taranaki. Growing quickly, their top end printing machines and workshop meant they were able to complete a wide variety of jobs finished to high standards, and in a time frame that exceeded expectations. From flat signage to vehicle wraps and high end business solutions Signright offered it all.
It was their passion for quality products and customer service that lead to the purchase of Top Stitch in 2021, a local powerhouse that had been taking care of embroidery and apparel solutions throughout Taranaki for over 20 years. Specialists in embroidery Top Stitch also offered transfer printing, DTG printing, branded accessories and extras such as ribbon and sash printing. Signright could now proudly offer their clientele a full service, where they could quality control everything.
Their drive to take over the industry didn’t end there however, with the purchase of Screen Culture in late 2023. Having operated from their Gill St location since 2016 Screen Culture had been Taranaki’s go-to screen printer known for their quality workmanship and personalised service. With a passion for screen printing and design previous owner Courtney is still to this day involved in Brandlab stepping into the Branding Manager role.
Now located at 320 Devon St East, Brandlab with their large comprehensive showroom and workshop boasting a range of quality machines is proud to offer the full service in one location. From all types of signage, to in house screen printing, DTF printing and embroidery, we keep the process simple and effective – in house saves you money and ensures we don’t settle for second best. Some would say Rachel is the “Big Boss”, but when it comes ensuring our admin and penny counting is taken care of, she is your go to. Supporting Dylan in day to day running of the business while working a full time job outside of Brandlab, Rachel is the glue that keeps things on track and on time.
